A Day at the Track

A few weeks ago, Pat and the grandkids came to the Sunday market and manned the stalls so I  could walk around to check out the other vendors and take in some of  the Racetrack for a change.

Fresh produce.

From fresh produce…

to handmade jewelry.

to handmade jewelry.

Hours before the first race, the stands are empty, but there are hundreds of people milling about the other areas of the track.

No butts in these seats...yet.

The excitement is palpable and I even went so far as to bet on the third race.  My horse started off great, but ended up dead last. Figures.

We're all winners in the end.

We’re all winners in the end.

Fort Erie Racetrack is quite beautiful and I’m happy to see that attendance numbers seem to be vastly improved.
